yes the point when you pull back is if you see some blood remove the pin and change the needle tip, then pick another spot and do the same till no blood comes in... im not sure why but when you dont hit a vien no blood fills the syringe... but if it does, roids arnt cheap so its your own blood just change the tip and inject... goodluck

U say dont hit a vein....no blood. Even if u don't hit a vein...wont blood still get in the srynge when u pull back to check?
