Now any hope is lost...the scrapping process has already started..the sun shines into the cardeck...R.I.P. unique G.T.S. FINNJET!!! That's a really sad end for such a wonderful ferry!In june 2008 the famous GTS Finnjet reached the Alang srapyard for demolition. start of scrapping was announced for the 4th. of july. there is still little hope to save her! she is still untouched!on 21th august a inspection team left finland for visit in alang to get knowlegde about finnjet's condition and refloating possibilities. you see, something's going on!FINNJET is still the fastest ferry worldwide (33,5 knots) and the only one powered by gas turbines.Don't let this unique ship die!************************** *****************some tags are only for recruiting more visitors!
