How did I manage to miss this incredibly musician for so long??? I had no idea he wrote the Dixie Chicks song, and "Breathless" is without a doubt one of the best songs EVER! Dan, you have a permanent new friend/fan here! As a Peace Activist, the Dixie Chicks song ("Not Ready to Make Nice") was always one of our faves, thanks for writing it!

I think this is one of my favorite albums of last year! He opened for Sondre Lerche and captured my attention right away! He rocks!

I was at Best Buy (out here in California) checking CDs from A-Z, over and over again, hoping I'd find SOMETHING! After an hour I saw "Dan Wilson", was impressed by the album cover art and took the CD to the listening station; it took all of four seconds for me to realize that this was the voice of Semisonic-translating to "IPD" (Instant Purchase Decision). It's the kind of CD that you want to save for days to listen to. Hard to believe it came out one year ago today and I did not know it!
