To get taken off telemarketers call lists, when they ring, make sure you gather their company name, and then make sure you say atleast twice you want to be removed from their call list, and not to ring again, then if they do ring again under the same company name, you can legally sue, been done before, can claim thousands.

Nice one. I have been inundated with calls from BT (UK) about a 12-month contract offer after I complained as I was ex-directory I got loads of automated calls telling me they could not talk to me right now and could phone this number to be taken off the list, I have to contact them to be taken off their list, I dont think so. An agency phoned my number I pay for using MY name, what right have they to abuse that information. Good one.
