Today is whole lot easier for a person to escape poverty but can a person keep their soul while freeing himself from poverty or would he let distractions and illusions keep him asleep. Curtis gives you clues on how to escape poverty in his music without risking your soul.

I'm just getting into Curtis Mayfield now, shame i didn't do so earlier, he is brilliant! Take songs like this and Pusherman, now, can you think of anything better when it comes to flawless arrangement and pure musical bliss?? Nope, didn't think so!
