In his defense, he was EIGHTY years old at the time of this performance, he still kept some musicality going, and doing a recital of any sort can be stressful. Though playing devil's advocate, it is really embarrassing to be such a world-renowned artist and to give a performance like this one. It's good to know this wasn't his last performance.
