Anyone know someone who breeds these old-school staffs in U.S. ? Two choices here really, small fat bulldog-type or huge mastiffs people try to pass off as pits. I have an Amstaff right now, but I like these guys.

amazing staffs excellent egsamples for the breed thats how all staffs should be muscular powerful and healthy i love staffs there nice little power house dogs there packed full of strengthh and muscle fitted in such a nice little compact body id say defenitely the strongest powerfulest dogs for there size cant think of a dog like them at there size there a good representetive for britian america just want it large as always we go for quality not quantity unlike america with there huge pits

I have a black Patterdale terrier, Tarn. He's large and muscular for the breed....22 lbs or so. Everyone says he looks like a Staffordshire bull terrier....and he does resemble some of these black dogs. Nice breed, I have always like them.
