in the english version atomsk is trapped throughout the whole series you dont see him till the last episode and only briefly as naota absorbs him and haruko gets mad and attacks him what im trying to say is that in the english versioncanti and atomsk are completely different beings

I have read this in at least 5 sites (and no, they aren't all run by the same person)...FLCL was originally released in Japan in 2000 as an OVA anime on six DVDs by Gainax. Shortly after, the story was also released as a two-volume manga by artist Hajime Ueda, and a two-volume novel serialization by Yoji Enokido (who also wrote the script for the show). All were released in Japan starting in 2000.and yeah, I know that it a lot darker, but that is what made it good, am I right?

the manga came before the anime. it was so much darker... like naota actually kills his dad oevr haruko, and there's actually sex in the manga, and yeah... they omitted QUITE a lot for the anime ... but still awesome nonetheless

the manga came after the anime, and in both america and the anime it is atomisk... at least, I thought so... Furthermore, I thought that the fact that Canti=Atomisk was something that was different from teh anime to the manga... Or perhaps it is my knowledge taht is flawed... |
