I personally believe that the main reason comes from outside earths atmosphere. If you research all the planets are going through the same rise Mars included! And its possible a massive heat wave in the universe is on its way to our Galaxy or the universe temperature is rising itself or something more greater is on its way! More info can be found on the net. temperature rise for other planets and melting caps non them are coinciding with ours and is happening now too.

lol I hear you completely. I'm not saying we shouldn't take care of the Earth, by any means, I was just suggesting that people do a little more look into the whole picture of things; what is going on here as well as the rest of our solar system. That's what ancient civilizations did and they were able to prepare for nature's worst.

even if the green house effect isnt real and that it is just the sun getting hotter, we should still take care of earth, since, right now, we are still living here and as far as we knowright now, we will still be living on earth in the future. so why not take care of earth???...and no im not a hippy.. cuz if i was... i wouldnt own a computer!!lol

The Greenhouse Effect isn't true. The sun is getting hotter. Mars is getting hotter and the moons of Jupiter are melting. We didn't cause that, the sun did. We're at the beginning of Solar Cycle 24 It is the reason for the violent weather, which is only going to worsen as we reach the peak of this solar cycle. Don't believe anything unless you can prove it through your own research. The Greenhouse Effect isn't excluded from that statement.
