well,,,,I have use my saw 180 times( melted the barrel once ) in the 240 missions I have been and my earing is fine with the bradley 35mm going off, ieds and inbound airsupport however my soldier did lose his hearing from the left ear from shooting his m16 at insurgents in various gun battle. Its strange because he was a little more P.T. than me usually the body heal faster. He says that he gets a big stingy icth on his left ear with a high picth sound. This

Im not sure, another guy down in the comments posted a comment saying it was the M240 Gulf. Either way, it's a 240 not a '249 (SAW).
