The Sesame Street "Puppets" are often branded with the "Muppets". Also, Kermit the Frog of the Muppets appeared often in Sesame Street in the earlier years of the show.

i think the reason that burt looks bigger in the scene is the puppetters placing in the shot. remember, sometimes they have to do two puppets at a time. so, with so many characters in one scene, he might have had to squeeze into the spot to make it work
