and, btw, what's the point of a rapper/producer who doesn't write his own lyrics (ahem...dre)? kanye doesn't write all of his lyrics. that's fine. but he's just another in the long line of rapper/producers who just aren't what they seem. he's a 2008 version of diddy, only there's no biggie. it's just boring to me.

there are 1,000 better rappers. there aren't too many better producers. i really admire his beats. they're fantastic. i saw him in chicago (i live in NYC) and his fevered ego seemed to get the best of him even there. maybe this is unfair, but i can't possibly imagine knowing that guy. he seems like a real asshole. and i know people reading this are fans: not trying to insult you. i just don't like the way he conducts himself. and to quote Tribe, his lyrics are Butt.

kanye style is killer and that first song he spit is "brand new" rhymefest wrote the song and ckDEEWEEZYck what are you saying his word play is on key his lyrics are ingenius and you dont need to rhyme to be a hip-hop artist lupe and talib have a smiliar style |
