it cleans carbon build up, intake valves, pistons, and restores power and acceleration

Im the guy who popularized this product. Use the whole can and just read the directions. It says I believe wait 5 minutes you also at the very end shut down the vehicle by letting it suck in a large amount of seafoam to flood the induction system!

When you seafoam a car, what does it do? Besides the smoke I mean.
hurraquio (July 18, 2008 at 10:35 pm)
I dont get it, your engine doesnt look that beat up, why are you seafoaming? Seafoam is for old 150k+ mile cars.
fujirio (July 13, 2008 at 8:48 pm)
i wouldn't recommend doing this because it burns your rings and gaskets and some times foul your plugs, thus resulting is burning more oil and would later on cost you more money in the long run.

isn't the seafoam supposed to go into the brake booster line?

what do you have done to your car. ill list the mods iv got on this 2000 GTfully forged short block rated at 800rwhpvortech superchargerpatriot headscomp camsfull exhaust80mm tb and ported plenum richmond 3.73 gearsim in the middle of building this setup looking to make at least 550 rwhp on 42lb injectors and a focus fuel pump. upgraded the fuel system and im looking at over 600 rwhpi dont mess with n/a motors anymore
EastonHockey97 (July 2, 2008 at 4:23 am)
unless your FI theres no need for a TB/Plenum bigger than 70mm. on our cars (sn95) a cold air intake, tb/plenum probably gets you 5rwhp. at most. if you want a cheap fast mod, go with gears. 3.73 for manual, 4.10 for automatic.

i ported the plenum out and with the cai the TB and the plenum ported i felt a big difference in acceleration. |
