Hi elenafedeli,You asked, how the story ended, well unfortunately after repair the failure came back (with the original AC adaptor). But I was at least able to recover my personal data.I tried a lot before (charging, resetting SMC, and all the hints from the support site...). I spent a lot of hotline costs and was really disappointed - but finally got my money back. Since almost one year I have a FUJITSU-SIEMENS amilo and I am very happy with it :-).Good luck!

Sounds like you have bad connections from the battery and power supply, or you could most likely have a defective motherboard.

I am in the last days of the guarantee... and after one year in which nothing major occurred...my macbook pro 17" started firstly to have problem with the keyboard and then is having exactly the same behavior of this one in the movie.How it ended with that? :(I am rather sad...did you loose your data?

Mine does that from time to time but yesturday i started mine up and i heard 3 clicks and it was stuck on the white screen and doesnt get any further! Any ideas on the problem? luckily its only like 4 or 5 monthes old so im gonna send it in and maybe get a new one lol or get it repaired if it can be!

never open a brand new mac...let the Apple store get you a replacement...it could be a shorted PSU or a bad battery(I'm guessing bad battery from that other movie you posted)

The real thing is that Macs rule and you just shit on computers cause you can't work them right, Macs rule and you suck buddy......
