Archeology in the New World is relatively new, and Indian artifacts found within the USA are sold to Japanese collectors as soon as they are unearthed. Which means that few if any of these artifacts are ever studied by scientists / archeologists? There is evidence that man has been in the New World for at least 50,000 years.I suggest you start your path on American History by reading "Indian Givers", by Jack Weatherford or "Hidden Cities", by Roger G. Kennedy.

Boy, what the hell do they teach in school today?? Until those first groups crossed the Bering Strait, there weren't any humans in the Western Hemisphere. So, the Native Americans didn't steal it from anyone, as there was nobody to steal it from.

The true point of Woody's song is being missed. His song was healing wounds of the average man & woman living in a broken republic system. He was an advocate for all races, colors & creed. This song was written to lift up the depressed American soul and mind. Woody saw the suffering and sought to unite the working class, middle class and lower class. NOT DIVIDE! The country was at war & in the midst of the great depression. Woody wasn't political. It just came down to loving your neighbor.

and who did the native americans take it from? Learn your history, land is taken over and over and over. When the native americans crossed the land bridge 10k years ago they stole if from the people who were already here. The process has been going on for a long time and continues today.

native americans lost their land fair and square-times change, so do weapons, battle tactics, politics, etc..... cant protect your land,someone will take it.....(think Nazi Germany)....Mexicans here need to chill. This is NOT Mexico. We are UNITED here. Mexico is not better than the US(if so, why would you be here?), so speak english(learn or TRY-efforto earns respecto here)... quality is being compromised in the US, and I think its directly related to Mexicans not givin a shit about (cont) |
