There is no difference. Pit Bull is a generic term that encompasses many different breeds, including the AmStaff. And of course AmStaffs look different from EngStaffs. They're different breeds.

What's the difference between these and Pit Bull's? in looks & conformation etc..? They look nothing like the original English Staffordshire Bull Terrier, they are twice the height. What other breed is used to get the height in this breed of Staff? I personally Love Bull Terriers, bit mad but that's the Bully!

There is no such thing as a Blue nose Staffie, all Am Staffs are black nosed. American Pitt Bull Terriers can have red, black or blue noses. I think it's great you are getting one though, please choose you dog by tempement and health not color.

hey RADAR that's cool that you own a Staffy.I've never owned one.I've only had mutts and German Shepherds.I have special love for German Shepherds.I live in Miami and Pits are not legal.But Amstaff terriers are legal in Miami.And I like the temperament on the breed.I'm gonna purchase a Blue Nose AKC Staffordshire Terrier
