Dawin would have named both genes and memes 'God' if he had discovered them.

dawkins and Blackmore, -champions of Universal Dawinism,- assert that these ideas explain "all design in the Universe" (from Blackmores Ted talk on utube). Moreover it is an "extremely simple idea". I agree, but when Dawkins was looking around for a name for them after he first observed them (memes) he got that name wrong. They are called God.Aren't all the latter things you talk about -'human design' and therefore fall under the envelope of universal Darwinism (as first put forward by Darwin

I can give you an example as to how I can cause delusion without lying. For example, I found an ape jaw and a human skull. Now, I saw several stupid scientists looking for their monkey ancestors. I threw the ape jaw and the skull to the site. Later, the evo guys found them and pieced them together and called them "PILTDOWN MAN". They presented it to the public and the whole world believed they were apes. There was worldwide delusion FOR 41 YEARS! Now, DID I LIE? Obviously NOT! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

John A. T. Robinson. Known for his role in launching the 'Death of God' movement, Robinson wrote a revolutionary book titled Redating the New Testament, in which he posited revised dates for the NT books that place them earlier than the most conservative scholars ever held. He places Matthew at 40 to after 60, Mark at about 45 to 60, Luke at before 57 to after 60, and John at from 40 to after 65. This would mean that the Gospels could have been written as early as 7 years after the crucifixion!

Humans still have the urge to procreate, people do it every day in fact. The human population is increaseing massively, there will be 9billion people on the planet soon. I'd say the urge is definately still there. While humans have genetic urges, we are also intelligent and rational - we can make decisions. Dogs/other animals don't actually try and procreate every time they have the urge, either. Overpopulation could be eery damaging to humans, it might be a good idea reproduce less.

Can someone explain why 'Natural Selection' would take away from man the instinctive urge to pro-create, thus in the process making it possible for us to wipe ourselves out?. It seems a backward step, how very evolutionary!.

Maybe god exists within genetics and governs evolution, or within the human mind and influences the development of ideas...but there is no evidence to support this. Its just assumption and assertion. We can explain natural world - without actions of gods, and also the development of ideas. We can explain the development of morality, liberalism, extistentionalism, rationalism, capitalism, etc.

Biological evolution explains the physical development of life. It is entirely naturalistic and materialistic, it (and science in general) does not involve the supernatural or gods. Science explains the universe without the need for deities. The development of ideas/philosophy is a different subject - and has nothing to do with biology or biological evolution. Even in the humanities most of our theories are naturalistic - its only a few branches of philosophy that disagree.
