I have never been a great fan of jazz until I heard Bill Evan's rendition of Emily. From nowon I am hooked on his great music, thank you.

I wonder sometimes why people who hate jazz so much choose to click on a video like this. Its not as if it could be could be mistaken for a some metallica concert. i hope they are not so sad that they have nothing better to do with their life than seek out youtube videos that they dont like and say how much they dont like them. Oh, and get some basic respect for music and musicians.

As someone who plays jazz and recovered from carpal tunnel syndrome, I know many pianist learn to curve their fingers beyond the natural form. For some people this pedagogy presents no problems but nevertheless puts unnecessary stress on the body. For what it's worth, Bill Evans began with more proper posture but slouched terribly over time. He also shot up heroin in his hands making them swell abnormally.
