I'm not saying if you can play GH you can a real guitar. It helps a little bit with hand/eye coordination. I'm saying it's the INSPIRATION.

The last part of your comment is definitely true. can't go one trip in the car with "BUM BUM BEE DUM" and that song is ANNOYING. btw, who thinks they should put Life Is A Highway as a downloadable in GH or RB?
WizAnt (October 4, 2008 at 4:55 pm)
lol you found a way to be on my side and his, nice one. I can play expert on guitar hero. GH, as well as RB, gave me and friends the idea to start a band. I'll be the guitar (im the best by far at GH and i catch on to things quick. This might not be hard, but i played all the songs in music class with a guitar perfectly...so...ya), and we already have a drum player, bass player, and singer. Our name is the Holy Toasters. Long Story.

I'm actually an avid Guitar Hero fan and I am also currently a music performance major (percussion). As someone who can play Guitar Hero songs on expert and spends litterally four hours a day practicing I'm pretty sure I'm a living proof that your comment is false. Furthermore I think Guitar Hero is one of the best thing to happen to music recently. It exposes people to real songs rather than the terrible stuff being played on the radio today. It also inspires kids to actually try playing music.

oh, and what the hell is your last comment supposed to mean?
WizAnt (October 3, 2008 at 7:25 pm)
Note: I meant without finger/eye coordination. (left of from last comment)Again: DO YOUR RESEARCH. oh, by the way, my friend can almost play the GH3 version of cliffs of dover (meaning he can't do 1,ONE,UNO part). Explain that fuck-box
WizAnt (October 3, 2008 at 7:21 pm)
Hey. ASSHOLE FUCK YOU Those songs my friend play are easy for PRACTICE YOU FUCKING DICK! FINGER COORDINATION IS MORE FUCKING IMPORTANT THEN YOU REALIZE! It helps you learn how to play to a certain beat, and tell me: how the FUCK do you expect to play Through the Fire and Flames with eye/finger coordination, which you implied that it has little importance? Talk to a real guitar player (Herman, Slash) about Guitar Hero and how it helps (FINGER COORDINATION YOU PRICK) with REAL guitar playing.

sorry, those button actually make no vibrations what so ever; just the friction from the button hitting whatever it's sitting in is about all.
Chaosbreach (October 2, 2008 at 1:15 pm)
And don't you dare tell me to do MY research when your arguement for guitar hero helping kids play music is an anecdote of one who was able to start playing a bunch of simple ass rock songs, the entirity of which one could learn to play in a matter of days. Really only 1; we'll go 2 for leeway. Sorry i'll be over here making/trying to make music while you hit plastic buttons that produce no pitch and next to no acoustical vibrations. Sure..seems fun! enjoy yourself! (k, sarcasm ends here.) |
