It's being reflected onto 4 flat see=through panels that give off the illusion of a 3D object in the center when really your just looking at at a flat plane. Think the creepy painting where the eyes seem to fallow you. Too bad no one posted the video of how to set it up. its on there website. Looks really good though

A Hologram is a 3 Dimensional Image, this in case is not. It looks 3D but isn't, it's 2D images mashed up in a case giving it the illusion of 3D. Because of the triangle's unique shape- it looks that way. Thus, in case making it a Volumetric Display-any more questions?

OK, but tell us what a volumetric display is! Give us some references about it! I tend to believe your saying just considering the suspect "simplicity" of the montage. Tell us more please, you can't just replace a fuzzy word with another.

This isn't a hologram- it's volumetric display.

around 0:38 it passes through a corner and seems to me it has depth and the image appears just like a 3-d object inside.has anyone here seen these at fairs and such

AndyCheng (February 26, 2007 at 6:02 pm)

theultimatecomment (February 24, 2007 at 11:35 pm)
yep
AndyCheng (February 24, 2007 at 11:19 pm)
so does that mean for example you see a hologram of the queen and you see her from the front but when you try and see her from the back you would not see her back but her front, right? |
