The song is about the murder of four teenage girls in an austin yogurt shop "Yogurt Shop Murders". It happened Dec 6, 91 and no suspects were arrested until 99. One of the four suspects arrested was released in 2006 but reinstated in 2007. Two other suspects are asking for DNA testing as of Aug 20, 2008. As much as I love Okkervil River I think Will Sheff has some internal demons. John Allyn Smith Sails, and Savannah Smiles... So many songs about death.
