rb26 is a good motor but much more expensive less displacement and the 2j can handle more power out of the box. 2j's make more power than rb's. Not that an RB isn't a good motor beceause it is and it's nice because it revs higher. The skyline is more well known for it's drivetrain than the motor. The supra is more well known for the motor than the tranny. The getrag is still sick and the rb is a great motor thats just common knowledge.
