How can you watch such an emotionally manipulative film, made by the richest director in the world in 1993, and then claim to have any sort of understanding of the Holocaust? Watch Resnais' 'Hiroshima mon amour'. A French woman tells a Japanese man that she has seen the horrors of the atomic bomb because she went to the hospital where the victims were. She says, "I've seen everything". The man replies, "You've seen nothing". Spielberg makes us forget that we can't even begin to understand.

I was about to reply to yellowwasp09's comment, but DonFarshido summed it up nicely. Besides the idiocy of you considering the subject and the film the same thing, it also pains me to read: "check in every top you want". I assume you mean some crap top-ten great films list in some cheesy magazine? Great job. Oh and "spillberg" having the "balls" to make a holocaust film? Have you noticed the countless amount of films about the holocaust? It's not something that Hollywood shies away from.
