Von Braun died 1977. He was a genius and did bring about the Saturn V rocket that put Americans on the moon. The V-1 was a fancy mortar, the V-2 was just a dart that was thrown into the air with a rudimentary guidance system. The navigation of a flying wing requires a VERY sophisticated control system should it's thrust exceed wing drag in the absence of any other control surfaces.

the shuttle was designed by von graun and his crew when he was recruited by the americans after the was he invented the v-1 and v-2 rockets, most of the designers at nasa well into the 60's were ex nazi's even debus who ran nasa at one point should have been hung as a war criminal but was saved because of his expert knowlage

To everybody discussing of the origin of the airplanes and result of the war.First think how long would you stand on a fight in a bar against 5. Regarding airplane design, neither americans or russians would have advanced in airplanes without things like this. Someone remember Ta-183, no mig-15 or f-86 would existed without that, and remember no modern plane is non related to an old one, you will never go from blank on a new plane.
