They won't show you if the tundra's auto LSD setting was on or off or the Chevrolet's control settings if any. Any user could press the auto LSD button (vs the 100% nannies-off mode like it looks here) to stop the one side moving alone when the tire speed exceeds so fast and it just so happens to differentiate. My tundra can slip one wheel alone but doing it is challenging mission.

tundra payload is less than the gm trucks by about 300lbs

No vehicle is made off the assembly line for drag racing.. And once again just because tundra is fast doesnt mean you have to cry and try to find every flaw toyota has made, no one ever said they were perfect... And a beileive tundras payload is more than silverado so go ahead and put a 6000lb trailor on it. Who do YOU think will win???

Very impressive job by the Silverado, you can tell on the hill that both trucks have a rear diff, the Chevy appears to do a much better job of sensing the slip and apply full power to the other wheel, the ditch test proved a point, but 4x4 would get you out no problem

Good thing trucks are made for drag racing right??...dumbass. If your going to drag race a truck atleast put a 6000lb trailer behind them and then start. Also how about all the problems Toyota has with their new Tundra. I've heard of guys replacing their whole engine in em. The tailgates folding under the weight of an ATV. But hey atleast it goes faster in a straight line...

what are you talking about power to the wheels? if you know that tundra would win in a race i think thats what power to the wheels is all about. and tundra does get the job done and just because its fast doesnt mean you have to cry and make it sound like a "ricer" because i've never seen a v8 ricer and tundra's exhuast sounds more like a truck than the car-like sounding silverado.
realistinamerica (October 5, 2008 at 1:05 am)
o no, a chevy couldnt beat a tundra in a street race?!!!? omg since people actually need a truck to race. Its fuckin idiot rice truck lovers like yourself that think that a truck is all about speed. Lmao its about being able to get the job done you idiot. People buy trucks for thw torque and power, not fuckin racin em down the street like an idiot need for speed dumb ass. Thats why jap trucks are a failure, they dont have what real truck drivers need, they cant put the power to the wheels
ctwohfiveoh (September 30, 2008 at 3:02 am)
Why would the brain send power to a free spinning wheel? Not bashing...legit question.
