I love his philosophy. I have been a lover of his films. Especially, I love Wild at Heart, Eraser Head and The Lost Highway. I hope I could watch his up to date film. Thank you for posting.

Lynch is a genius. The most brilliant purveyor of the unconscious in film ever.

What the fuck is up with his whole thing with Maharishi now? I thought he was a no-bullshit kind of guy, but apparently he's totally lost himself.

Support his genius by BUYING some of his work. He can't survive simply on admiration.

Regarding your question about where to find Lynch stuff online, I always go to Facets Multimedia (for just about any film, not only Lynch). Sofar they've had every film I wanted (Lynch or not) except an original French version of The Triplets of Belleville. Anybody out there willing to sell an original French version of the Triplets of Belleville for less than 18 dollars or swap with my English/Spanish version??? Please let me know!

Before I even moved to this country, I had seen most Lynch films many times (except the short films that he made in art/film school). Lynch films are immensely popular in Europe. Believe it or not, my first taste of Lynch came with dubbed versions of Blue Velvet in Spanish (Terciopelo Azul) and German. In June or July 1998 right before I moved to the US, Dennis Hopper was at the Filmoteca Espan~ola for a discussion of Easy Rider. When he walked in the room I could not help but see Frank Booth :) |
