What piano are you playing? Is there a trick to voicing those notes like that? This is my favorite moonlight on the net.

This girl lived near the church beethoven used to teach students. Though blind from birth, she had developed an amplified sense of hearing. She would open her window, listen to the strains of music coming from the church, then return to her piano and duplicate them. Beethoven heard her play, knew it wasn't one of his students, and kncoked on the door. As a child beethoven was brutally physically and emotinally abused by his Father. The plight of this girl stirred his great soul.

My mom just died a week ago, and this song absolutely "says" what I am feeling. I feel like an orphan, staring at her departed mother's empty chair while it rains and the tears fall.No words can touch how I feel, but somehow music gets right to the heart of things.Isn't that a wonderous thing?~LauraG.~ |
