It should be mandatory for bands and singers to make their OWN video. It's nice to see what they can do. This is true talent. I'm sick of the "dancing troops crap" you now see in current music videos.

It's really not that bad, especially considering where music videos were at back then. It's no worse than 90% of the videos of it's time. Too bad that for all the money they spent the story wasn't a little more coherent, but at least Stevie had a lot of fun ripping it. Love the 3 women on horseback though, would rather have seen them kick some tail instead of just wasting their time at the saloon.

Her commentary is a bit hysterical here and there..she's got this..sassiness in her tone that just makes you want to laugh..

The only thing I could think thru the whole video was wow those green curtains really looked good as scarlets dress in the movie.. oh yeah I dont know what was funnier the horse the guy getting shot or the fire.. Very funny!!!!

You are so right on. I've loved Stevie for years, and had heard there was another version of Stand Back, but never knew she could be so freakin hilarious.

stevie as scarlett? hmm...that's an interesting twist. what happened on this??? did she watch Gone with the Wind and say oh that sounds like a great idea....but at least she tried something. and it wasn't totally awful either. also she looks amazing even if this doesn't make any sense. heh. |
