We now contribute to only 25 percent of the technological breakthroughs. We used to contribute to 75 percent of advancements or breakthroughs before the outsourcing epidemic.

Outsourcing is exactly where we discover the lie of "trickle down". Supply siders never seem to understand that the consumer base is also the working people. There is no loyalty or patriotism in a decision to outsource. particularly when the trade inbalance is already costing millions of jobs! -and Bush should be Impeached for that conflict of interest that has blinded his judgement.

London Telegraph 6/7/08:"Oil price shock means China is at risk of blowing up"The monumental energy price increases will be a 'game-changer' for Asia," said Stephen Jen, currency chief at Morgan Stanley. The region's trade model is about to be "stress-tested"....Any low-tech product shipped in bulk - furniture, say, or shoes - is facing the ever-rising tariff of high freight costs. The Asian outsourcing game is over, says CIBC World Markets."

To get jobs back, all we have to do is work for 50 Cents an hour. Of course we'll starve, but the rich will be richer, and isn't that what counts? God help us! Too bad Marxist economic theory bombed---

I'm British, don't blame us for outsourcing. it's been going on in the U.K for years. there's virtually no jobs left here in manufacturing, they have all gone to china and India. You got to stop it now before it goes too far. Between immigration and outsourcing, Britain is spiraling downwards fast. |
