Ever been in the middle of a slow car up front and a fast car behind you? Thats pretty much the democrats (upfront) and the republicans (behind) are on the minimum wage and cost of living. (Its a cluster F#ck that will cost a depression.)

This thing is sick. "...Probably the last time you're going to see it". Where do these guys come up with these opinions? A fast truck, as "economical as an Accord", appealing to Full-size truck customers. This thing is MARKET WORTHY. It's like InsideLine hates GMC or something.

Truthfully, yeah, it does bug us...but many of us are coming around to admit what you are explaining. This Denali XT is indeed hybrid and flex-fuel (E85 capable) and yet powerful and muscular so that is part of the attraction to me - combining both worlds (the fun world and the one full of concern and worry). Still, with the weight and power, it's not like the mileage is going to be wonderful even with hybrid mechanics. And the costs will be high. A non-hyrid Corolla is maybe most sensible.
