How in hell do you get it to do that? I have an 82 240d and it works harder to start at 25F than that (not plugged in, no kero).Of course, mine's got 310,000 miles on it, no rebuild.

You can try adjusting the left side knob on the instrument cluster. If that doesn't work, you need to remove the cluster and pull the rheostat out then bridge the two posts its connected to... search the net for more info

I guess you could, but it probably wouldn't be great for the injectors or pump... You can run it on home heating oil

100% Pump Diesel FuelI usually would have mixed 50/50 at this temperature and it would have started right up...like a gas car.Temperatures between 32 and 15 I mix 70% Diesel to 30% Kerosene...Exactly like in the owners manual :-)
