I dont think a person even need physical accessyou could recode that to email the log files that way you could just walk in a corporate location and leave a few lying around an office or better yet mail a 4 gig to the IT guy and say its a "gift" ;P so you don't need to actually have physical access only need access to people with the access

Like the NAS info I'm trying to get it going now. I'm learning that BSD is so not Linux! I think they mean Ethyl not Methyl alcohol (unless I missed some sort of inside joke). Ethyl alcohol is the stuff you drink methyl alcohol, aka methanol, is in windshield fluid and will blind you in small amounts or kill you...also in small amounts.
