That Capri is long gone now AndyIt has been replaced with another oneBright Orange with Coil Overs, PolyBushes all round, Seam welded, Lowered and Anti dive Kit fitted. She also has the 2.8 with a 4 speed box.She needs a couple of bits of welding to get her through the MOTBut cash is short at the mo and she is sitting in the garage :(

ok i think your going over the top...the capri aint a masterpiece its a death trap rust box. i was 18 when i got mine and i did the same dont regret it. its called having fun in a fun car. these cars ask to be abused!!!!

Thanks for the video burnout Ollie, you've brought back a very fond memory of my own (long gone) Capri! I don't think there are any new cars out there that will ever be as much fun as these old Capris. If someone asks why you did it, they have never driven one of these beauties! If they did, they would DEFINATELY understand. Capris rule!

I'm from the U.S and used to own a 1977 2.8 model. I could damn near burn the tires a full 1/4 mile in that old car. These old Capris had the most torque for take off of any car I've ever driven. There werent many sent to the states. I was lucky and wish I could find another some day!
