I think this was recorded for Capitol Records by Judy Garland with Orchestra conducted by Norrie Paramor, August 3, 1960 from the London Sessions. This version is better than the earlier Decca recording, but both are great.

Utterly awesome song, the way she sings it. Thanks.

"Carnegie Hall double CD from april23rd 1961"Judy didn't have backup singers at Carnegie Hall. It was mostly likley from a tv show in the 50's.

I'm not a big LOTR fan, but this is BEAUTIFUL. Great idea to pair these images with this phenomenal Garland performance. Magical stuff...

This is Judy at her peak, vocally guys! I suggest her Carnegie Hall double CD from april 23rd 1961. it won best album of the year and was on the bill board #1 for 20 weeks and in the top 20 for 90 weeks. She should be treasured and not just remembered for her troubled life.

I don't know if I like this video with this song. Great song, no other woman could sing it remotely as good as her I feel. (Except Liza) Thx.
