i'm pleased this car comes with curtain airbags as STANDARD. It's a family sized car and if you have a family, you'd want to protect them in the event of some idiot smashing into you. Why doesn't the commodore have it as standard :/

At first i thought the same about the late deployment of the airbag, but then remembered that this is linked to the safety aspect of the seatbelt and release system, whereby the seatbelt acts like a shortened rubberband, first giving a little, then locking the occupant back into the seat(seatbelt retractors), thus giving way to the safe deployment of the airbag. then finally the occupant is released into the airbag(ALL THIS IN A SPLIT SECOND) Regards. |
