ng1294: body you got to read the history! who said the last time there was peace in the middle east was when Alexander was king there? the glory of Greece was exactly when Persian empire was in his glory! the rise of the Plato, aristotle, segrate all was in time of Persian empire! you get Persians wrong. Persian kings was very kind and let all the peoples of their empire be free of everything! Greece has lots of respect for Persians!

Well the last time there was peace in the middle east was when Alexander was king there. Alexander was great. You are entitled to your opinion but remember Persia threatened Greece and payed for it's civil wars because they knew a united Greece would ruin Persia. It did. Persia was good in its own right but personally I like Greece more.

I wish I could speak instead of writing. Alexander burned the magnificent Persepolis to the ground! beside the history of Achaemenid empire have been written by Greeks which was the enemy of Persians! I guest that is very fair! I beleive Alexander is not comparable with non of the Achaemenian Kings. I hope you know what Cyrus the great achieved and did to the peoples of time!? tel me one good thing that Alexander did for the peoples of time?!

There is a lot I can say, but I'll choose one. Most people in middle eastern states, like greeks cause of traits that Alexander left. And he didn't simply destroy, he admired the persian civilization. He even wanted his generals to marry persian women. His vision was to reach the end of the world and not anhiolate, but conquer and spread the greek civilization. Remember he didn't kill Darios though he could and treated his wife like a queen instead of slave. That and many more..

Why should call Alexander Great? whatta fuck he did Great? destroying, burning and calling him self a God it's great? you know whats the different between we Persian and you Greeks? we BUIT an Empire! you just conquered it! it takes centuries to built such a empire and perhaps few weeks to destroy it! in fact we're the only country that matter still today. who is the man?

if you mean who assasinated Philip, it was the leader of philips bodyguards , he was named Paysanias , it is said that Philips wife Olympiada paid him to kill phillip in order for Alexander the Great to take the throne, bacause Philip had children with other women too (thought it is not confirmed) |
