Thank you... Wondering if it can be done is the beggining of true love. But if I would have said so I would have been tilded as presumptous and arrogant. There is no greater love than to love, despite the others flaws and errors. Negative...listen closer. She might be saying: "would you", but definiteley not: "will you". "To" sounds more relevant. In fact, there is no man; she's alone in her room cause no one has been "strong enough" to stay. So who is she talking to, as she keeps looking upwards; specifically right before verse 4. The song starts: "God I feel like hell tonight", and not "God!, I feel hell!..." It's not a remark. Ofcourse, if you can prove differently, I'll stand corrected; I just like my interpretation.

This is interesting. I take my hat off to your wisdom and insight. Maybe true love is loving someone who can't or won't change? or loving the very qualities that make most think the person should change.

actually this is far away from being true.first: it's "when I'm broken down and I can't stand... Will you be man enough to be my man?"it's as simple as it is; she wonders if "her" man ist really strong enough to deal with her being so difficult from time to time.
