I'm thinking he's talking about drugs. Getting messed up on the H(heroin) is why I think he collapsed and needed to be carried. Taking a ride with his friend, never let him down again=shooting up, and hopes he stays high and never comes down. But ain't that great about DM, to each person their own meaning.
