This video is actually quite comical. Elizabeth Smart was trying to get the point across that she wanted to talk about the bill and not her experiences, and the next thing out of Nancy's mouth is, "How did you see out of that burka?" Her insensitivity is almost hilarious.

Mitchell looked & acted like a normal person when the Smarts' met him. I explained earlier why this case has not gone to trial yet. The Smarts' are NOT responsible for Mitchell & Barzee being psychotic. You need to stop believing the conspiracy lunatics. There is no conspiracy over one teenage girl. & there is no proof that Elizabeth's dad intimidated her. The books are different from the tabloids because tabloids are famous for lying. & only 2 books were written by the Smart family.

She said she FELT so far away. That sentence you quoted is not proof of anything. The Smarts employed homeless people to work on their house because such outreach to the needy is a central tenet of the Mormon faith. Many Mormons make offers like that to people in need. The Smarts had done it for years & until Mitchell came along nothing bad had happened. I agree that it was stupid since they never checked anyones' references but they had no idea Mitchell was a psycho.

Okay people. here is the proof,,,"It was good to know people were looking for me, (BUT) I was so far away at that time" Why in the Hell was there a But? There should be no "but" From her about people who kidnapped her? This case wreaks of someone should re-open it! Because its not going to trial? There are too many un-answered questions about what happened to this young girl?

Why would the books be any different than the tabloids when they are all after sales for money? In which I believe now the truth lies in a disturbed young girl, who was intimidated by her father, and then (UNFORTUNATELY) fell into the hands of whacko's her father approved of being at their home? He was teaching something similar?
