its just sad for the philippines this 2000s. When Donald Trump owned it.. we were unplaced.. we sent a lot of beautiful, witty ladies.. theresa licaros, leah andrea ramos, gionna cabrera, nina ricci alagao for example..

in my opinion, our best representative is none other than Ms. Margarita Moran, Miss Universe 1973, she is all in one package, smart, elegant, demure, beautiful and very sophisticated woman...I hope this coming years, Philippines would again conquer the Universe..!!!!!!!!!!!!!

pag katapos nung 1999 wala na, pero napagdaanan naman na natin ang mamayagpag lalo na nung 1970's at 80's , kahit paano meron nung 90's ngayung 2000's ok parin naman tayu pero sa world at international si precious nga nanalo

Charlene was raised in the US and that was one of the factors why she was (and still is) very articulate and relaxed... The US teach their people to be confident and financially independent.

I wish Miriam was more confident on how she answered the final question... She got very nervous and it cost her the crown... Miss Botswana was very confident and relaxed when she answered... It's not just what you say but it's how you say it... On the other hand, it's also not easy to get the First Runner-up award.
