I am sorry, he sounds like Judy Garland with testosterone. Very melodramatic and queeny. Too much show tune, not enough real emotion. And seriously, stop the lisping vibrato.

I think that this was the purpose of the movie, to reduce the viewers to a wet sticky mess in one manner or another.

Hey does anyone think that the main singer's head gear looks like the cover of kylie minogue's new album 'x'?I loved this movie, it was such a surprise and a joy to watch. This scene reduced me to a teary mess whilst laughing. So basically I was a wet sticky mess...

Well said, provokitty! I totally agree with you and all other ppl who say it's not porn. This movie makes to look at the life from the different angle. Every person can gain something new from it. becuase that's the way life is:weird, crazy and sometimes it can be a real hell. If there won't be any obstacles in life it would lose it's own meaning....well ok ok, enough that philosophy lol

I agree. It's not porn because it's so realistic. Porn is an ideal fantasy, this is too down-to-earth to give you the kind of pleasure you get from porn.I'd say it's "erotic"... but I'm very surprised the actors, that seem to be really good ones, agreed to do something so revealing and sexual.It's a great movie. John Cameron Mitchell is brilliant. I love Hedwig too.
