it seems like all the labs are stocky show dogs. i am in the country and my current lab is an american working line! i love her. i am trying to find another american line but i can't. they are always english style labs!!

All labs r fab, but theres just something special about black labs there gorgeous. Most of the ones in the video look fat show lab not like the slender working lab

Those all look like fat show dogs, AKC is trying to ruin them like almost every other breed. They're working dogs, not stubby legged barrels. Another example of a dog that was bred for a specific purpose, but later ruined by people who wanted a "relaxed" family dog. Overbred in the U.S., at least 50% of them will end up in shelters, because people can't keep up with their need-to-work energy level.
