alotta respect for this vid and the drivers in it....alotta good off roading and much props to the H2 for rock climbing like that.....verry scary to beat those obstacles with such a long wheel base

The guys on Trucks on spike has a 93 grand cherokee thats called 5k jeep. It looks like a Hummer with those killer bumpers and spare tire on the rear. Great rig.

Yup Yup... jeep's the way to go, but anything is fun!

Not bashing on the Hummers. The problem lies in a couple things, cost and setup. It is by far cheaper to wheel a Jeep then the Hummer. Hummers IFS vs. Jeep SAS, sorry I've had both (4-runner and xj) and the SAS on my basically stock xj (minus tires and sway disc.)took me further on the SAME trails then my lifted, locked IFS 4-Runner. To prove my point further, most rock buggies/rigs use what front suspension? Most baja/dune buggies/rigs use what front suspension? Nice wheeling by the hummer tho!

Nice to see a video where there's no bias towards Hummers or Jeeps.Jeeps are obviously the better off-roader with their shorter wheel base and smaller size.I'm going to get a Jeep YJ myself, but I have respect for the H1, which I like because of its based straight off the military one and has diesel. :) (Sure would love to see a diesel Wrangler)Pople who take H2 and H3's off roading get a thumbs up from me because they're being used as more than a sterotypical soccer mom's grocery carrier.

Jeep>Hummer

I Have two JEEPS, an '85 CJ-7 on 36" BFGs and a '92 YJ on 33" TSL Super Swampers. They are locked up and geared. I been riding for ten years and one thing I know is that if you have a Hummer and a Jeep set up just the same way, guess which one is going to make it to the end of the obstacle? The one driven by the most expirienced driver! SoCal Trail Riders!!!!!!!

For those considering buying a new vehicle, don't forget to check out the new 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser. Great for adventures off road, just for cruising around town, or running to the store.

The new 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser seats five and comes in two-tone with a Voodoo Blue, Titanium Metallic, Black Diamond, Sun Fusion, Sandstorm or Brick body color and White top. The interior fabric color is Dark Charcoal, while the dash, center instrument panel trim and the door inserts match the body.
