does anyone remember the old boy,who used to play the piano in a pub in the town centre,and there was always a older woman who used to remove some of her clothing,this was around 1985

This makes me sad. I spent so many of my childhood holidays here, and some of my teenage ones as well. I can remember what it used to be like. A great beautiful funfair with a double big wheel and a little steam train that used to run under our window. Margate also has one of the best beaches in the country. This is so depressing to watch.

The developers, along with the Save Dreamland Campaign are in talks with various people about restoring the coaster. Blackpool Pleasure Beach have expressed interst in performing the restoration, using their vintage wood coaster expertise. I myself am even working on reverse engineering my own structural plans (originals don't seem availible) should they be of any possible benefit. It's looking rather like it will be rebuilt - in legal terms it's actually required due to its Grade II listing...

isnt it obvious??? why the scenic rollercoaster burnt down??? i think it is because the people who brought the land wanted to build houses BUT they couldnt becuase the scenic railway is listed and cant be knocked down...... hmmm????!?!?!?!!!!

Is this y the coaster got burnt down?(fukin developers)least it werent Tesco this time, they burn anything down if they wanna build a store,only way to get rid of listed buildings. That was a mental coaster i used to ride it on our hols. By the way it werent always a shit hole.

i live in margate and i think it is a shit hole!!like u say more foreiners then british there!and now it is just bloody pike's all over the place it is 1 big shit hole!!
