The truth is that we cannot say which main battle tank is better because none of them has fought against a tank of equal class, most have never even seen battle against other tanks the only ones I am aware of are the M1, challenger, and merkava. All these have proven themselves capable tanks with strengths and weaknesses. I personally think it has more to do with how well the crew is trained and their experience. And all I know is that western armor has always beaten Russian armor.

You can't say the Leopard and T90 are better than the Abrams because neither of these have been tested in combat. And western armor has always smoked Russian armor in every war in which they met (example: Israel, Iraq). Don't forget Iraq had the 3rd largest army before the 1st Iraq war and outnumbered coalition forces in armor.
