i bought this exact phone BB 8120 from t-mobile and got it unlocked through IMEI and i'm using it in Colombia. For some reason it would recognize and connect to wi-fi signals but won't surf on the web with it. can anyone help? my cell phone company here says they don't charge me anything extra in order to use wifi unless i want to use edge. the connection preference is on: wifi prefered. when i check the connection it shows a yellow bubble with a negative sign next to it.

First off did you get the 8120 or 8110, Mine was brand new in box and with a 1GB memory card and case its also the titanium edition, and has wifi... You probably got the 8110 with no wifi and not the titanium one. So basically you were ripped off, if not tell me the URL to the item and lemee see it..
