did some research and...Thinkpad T400 FTW! you get near-alienware performance for near-macbook size!X300 is great too, if they upgrade some parts to Intel's Montevina and a dedicated GFX card.

you can put any OS you want, now that's there's options to do that. so people need to stop bragging about Osx. Don't like windows? Dual-boot.

Windows sucks for things that induce heavy CPU and network loads. Also, multitasking is slightly more painful than on a UNIX based OS. Mac OSX owes its better load balancing and saner operation to its BSD roots, and its a large part of what its users like.I swear by OpenBSD myself, but then again, I'm not your average computer user.Windows is fine, of course, for web surfing and office productivity, and necessary for stuff like Symbian development (although I seriously wish it wasn't).

so much better than air. there's only ONE problem... it's not a mac, it comes not whit osx. so... air is much better than lenovo.
