I think roller skating should be recognised as a world sporting event and also incoorperated or introduced into the olympics as well.

this is crazy...she looks like she is figure skating. I figure skated for 8 years and I can imagine this is much harder, esp. doing the jumps without a toe pick and such. hats off to whoever does this =]

i think its because its nothing,its not very graceful,it is better done on ice which is already an olympic sport.

shes amazing!? i didnt even know this type of skating existed like this it looks soo hard!! i do figure skating on ice and its hard enough but i think this looks a lto harder ive never been able to roller skate properly Lol. i think skatign on ice looks more elegant than wheels on wood but this llooks really hard well done XD

much more so...There's less friction in ice skating, so moving across the surface is easier all around. Not to mention the skates weigh a lot less than roller skates. The first time I went I skating, I learned how to do it backwards within an hour. Backwards roller skating is harder. |
