Hey Rosygirl that's a pretty dumb ass feeble comment. Why don't you enlighten us with some constructive input of your 30 years of playing flute or have you not learned anything in those 30 years....WaNkEr....Ha...Ha...Ha

rosygirl:I've practised plenty of scales, long tones, exercises, TG, etc. (as you can surely see!)However, this exercise proved to be a very useful adjunct to those in terms of focussing and stabalizing my embouchure. In any event, you are not compelled to try it...though perhaps you would be wise to do so before passing what is an uninformed judgment.Sincerely,Bill McBirnie(P.S. I do NOT do drugs!!!)

He must be bored or on drugs, what a waste of time. I've played the flute for 30 years, scales and tone is what its all about.

Cool, do you know how much they are(IN Us dollars, he sounds European.)
billmcb (March 16, 2008 at 10:14 pm)
It is a little hard to describe...but, in brief, more responsiveness and more volume...Bill McB.
tubonianflute (March 16, 2008 at 7:14 pm)
So, what type of difference(if any) do they make.

tubonian flute:To answer your question, that is a Robert Bigio crown and stopper.I have his blackwood/delrin combination as well as his complete zirconium crown/stopper (which is much more expensive).I am a strong advocate of his crowns and stoppers! (Robert Bigio is easy to find on the web!)Sincerely,Bill McBirnie |
