Ah, so does that make the guy who portrays Hamlet on stage just a random guy who wants to be Hamlet? No, he's an ACTOR, just as this guy is portraying Marx for the stage.And FYI, WolfeTone1985 has got it bang on. Stalin was a Nazi dressed in a red banner. He destroyed a beautiful idea, so now, Communism has been sadly tainted, and his legacy has paved the way for on one side, brutal, evil regimes like North korea and Vietnam, and the revisionist, Capitalist, social democratic 'left' in Europe.

Stalin did NOT make a dictatorship of the proletariat happen. The proletariat means the working classes, not a single party, let alone a single person. Stalin reversed most communist laws from the early years of the revolution: workers control over factories, liberal gay policy, liberal abortion laws, influence of the workers en soldiers councils etc. Just try and do a little research on it first, I did. Stalin transformed a dictatorship of the proletariat into a personal autocracy.

The belief that a leader should have total crontrol in the best interest of his country, is NOT a value of communism, but instead the CORE value of FASCISM. And thats not meant as an insult, thats just political theory 101 for you. What communist countries are left today? North Korea has no democracy whatshowever, China is purely capitalist simply because of the economy, and Cuba is a bit of a puzzle. Furthermore I'm not American, and the US is far from democratic, but still more then China.
